After the latest Sony’s episodes, a Sony executive, regarding PS3 capabilities decides to say that “nobody will ever use 100 percent of its capability“. Is that another marketing stunt or just something stupid to say? Were that true, why would anyone pay so much for it?
Some other memorable (and flawed) predictions:
- “I think there is a world market for maybe five computers”: Thomas Watson, Chairman of IBM;
- “640K should be enough for anybody”: Bill Gates;
- “Everything that can be invented has been invented”: Charles H. Duell, an official at the US patent office;
- “A rocket will never be able to leave the Earth’s atmosphere”: New York Times
